MTN Uganda to launch GPRS Network

MTN Uganda has announced that it will shortly launch its GPRS network to the market. GPRS which stands for General Radio Packet Service is also known as 2.5G. MTN becomes Uganda’s first phone operator to offer GPRS services – intended to offer much faster and better mobile internet services and related products. With GPRS, MTN customers will be able to access a wide range of harmonized services and products delivered off their mobile phones giving them a whole new experience.
