MTN Ghana recently introduced data packages for its prepaid mobile broadband subscribers. Hitherto, Ghana's biggest telecommunications company had been offering mobile broadband to its prepaid subscribers without data packages. I picked-up an MTN Nigeria mobile broadband kit recently and have used it heavily, since then. Find below my review of the service. The entire kit cost N18,650: HSDPA USB stick: N8,500 MTN SIM: N150 Airtime: N10,000 (24/7 monthly plan) The MTN agent asked for an ID and passport photo. Vodafone Ghana, Huawei Sign $120 Million 3G Technology Agreement

Vodafone Ghana has signed a $120 million technical agreement with Huawei Technologies Company Ltd to provide 3G technology for its Onetouch mobile service.
